The Catroom
Now the catroom.
I don't think there are words to describe the hideous colour of the catroom when I moved in, so I'll let pictures do the talking...
Words can't describe, can they?
Electric green with a horrible faded brown vertical blind. An odd room as someone decided at one point to remove the closet. Not a large room but suitable for the office desk (which I unfortunately no longer use after my desktop decided to implode and I replaced with a handy-dandy laptop) and all the cat goodies, from cat tree to litter box.
First and foremost was the removal of the horrible faded blind. Ahhhh, that felt good...die, blind, die!
Then some maneuvering of the furniture, spackle and primer...
I decided on a colour called "Marian's Meadow" (those who know me personally will find this specific choice of colour amusing)
A lovely soft green from CIL (definitely lovin' CIL's colours...great colours, easy to coordinate).
There was really no big surprises when it came to this room beyond the rather huge screw that tried to take a large chunk of wall out (thank gawd for drywall compound). So it was a quick prime, paint and blind install, and this is it:
Now that's a colour that I can live with!
